A MEMBER OF THE VFW POST 9362 LADIES AUXILIARY YOU CAN:
Thank and honor our veterans, those currently serving and their families.
Serve as a volunteer at community activities and events.
Friendships- you’ll make friendships you’ll treasure and enjoy the camaraderie as you work together to help others, share a laugh or cope with crisis.
WHO CAN JOIN THE VFW LADIES AUXILIARY?
Foster and stepmothers (who performed the duties of parent)
Foster and stepdaughters (who attained that status prior to age sixteen and for whom the duties of parent were performed)
Sisters, half sisters, foster and stepsisters (who attained that status prior to age sixteen)
...of persons who were or are eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States*(see below). Members must be citizens of the United States and at least 16 years old.
Ladies eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States shall also be eligible for dual membership in the Auxiliary. New members are always welcome!
Applications available at VFW Post 9362, 349 S Walker Way, Sun Prairie WI 53590. Dues are only $20 per year. Meetings are the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6 PM.
*Eligibility for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) of the United States is based on honorable service in the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force or Coast Guard performed by Officers or enlisted personnel who have served in any foreign war, insurrection, or expedition, which service is recognized by the award of a campaign or service medal of the United States of America or by any other criteria established by the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars is chartered by the Congress of the United States. Section 7 of Public Law No. 360, 74th Congress, provides that this organization shall have the sole and exclusive right to have and to use the name "Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States" and the sole and exclusive right to the use of names, emblems, and badges adopted by said organization. Section 705 of chapter 33 of Title 18, United States Code Annotated, prohibits reproduction or distribution of the name, emblem, or insignia or any colorable imitation thereof of The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. VFW Post 9362 is a chartered member of the National VFW in the 2nd District of the Department of Wisconsin.
